Plot:
The Concert Party are confined to barracks and pass the time by writing home, cleaning their rifles etc.  The Fortune Telling Wallah arrives in their Basher and tells Gloria's fortune.  Gloria draws a sign in some sand, and the Fortune Teller tells can see a bright light in Gloria's future.

Lofty:     "I saw a Fortune Teller once, and one day he said I'd be a Soldier!"
                  Sgt-Major:
"And who knows Lovely Boy, one day it might come true!!"

The Sgt-Major appears out of nowhere and orders the Fortune Teller to go away.  As the Fortune Teller leaves he curses the Sgt-Major by telling him that all of his teeth will fall out.  The Sgt-Major replies "Oh dear, how sad, too late!".
The Sgt-Major then explains that they were confined as they are to do some rehearsing.  They are going to rehearse the Flag Ceremony"  He explains it with pride and emotion.

Sgt-Major:     "It happens when the Sun is setting.  A detatchment of hand-picked Soldiers
salute the Union Jack, and lowers it while the Bugler plays the Last Post.
It's bringing tears to your eyes Lovely Boy!"

                        Lofty:
"You've been eating Onions!"

The Sgt-Major asks for volunteers, which they all do when they realise the only other alternative is doubling around the barrack square.

They gather to practise the ceremony, and Lofty is chosen to be the Bugler as he did two years in the Boy's Bugle Band.  Unfortunately, while they practise, it turns out that Lofty can't play the Bugle at all, he was the drummer!  The problems don't stop there, as after a bit of confusion on how to fold the flag, it is hoisted up the flag pole, and gets stuck.  An attempt to lower the flag pole results it in crashing throught he roof of the Sgt-Major's Basher.

Later that night, the Sgt-Major is in his leaking Basher and asks the Bearer all out his Krishna God, and when the Bearere has gone, he asks "Harry" Krishna to help him get the Concert Party up the Jungle.

The next day, the Colonel and the Captain are saying goodbye to a General who is off into the Jungle to do some Welfare work for the Soldiers.  He asks if he can take the Concert Party with him, and the Colonel eventually agrees.  It appears that the Sgt-Major's prayers have been heard!

The Concert Party perform for the General, and he tells them that they are going with him!  After he has gone, they are all happy and excited as they think they are off to perform in Delhi!  With the exeption of Parky, whom the Sgt-Major informs has to report sick. (We later find out that Dandruff is the reason he can't go)

The Concet Party are all packed and ready to go, and the Sgt-Major takes great delight in informing them that they are not going to Delhi, they are going up the Jungle!

Meanwhile the Colonel and The Captain discover that their orders for them to be posted up the Jungle are on their way, and so decide to take Parky and the Sgt-Major and join the Concert Party, so that by the time they return it will be too late for them to do anything about their orders!
