In 1993, Lledo, in association with the Radio Times, produced a set of six vehicles for their "Vintage Comedy Classics" range of model vehicles. The set (which also included Jones' and Hodges' vans from Dad's Army, A bus from Hi-De-Hi, A delivery truck from Are You Being Served?, and a Horse and cart from Steptoe and Son) was sold at £23.75 for all six. Or you could buy any individual model for £4.95, or purchase four at £19.80 and recive a fifth model free. |
The It Ain't Half Hot Mum model was based upon an American Mack Canvas Roofed Truck. Some versions have "HALF" spelt as "'ARF" as shown on the right. |
