To date, only five videos have been released (in the UK) for It Ain't Half Hot Mum. Of the five, only the first release was by the BBC, and the subsequent four have been released by Acorn Video.

THE JUNGLE PATROL Released by BBC Video originally in 1991/2, and then re-released on the BBC Budget label "right price video" in 1996 under the catalogue numer BBCV5833 Video Deleted from BBC Catalogue in March 2000 The tape had a running time of approx 90 mins, and contained the episodes: The Jungle Patrol and The Road to Bannu (both from Series One) and The Night of the Thugs (from Series Two)

The first two Acorn Videos were released on the 26th October 1998. The episodes are featured in the order they were transmitted, but exclude the episodes "A Star is Born" and "It's A Wise Child" as these did not exist in a suitable formfor release or transmission at the time

On the 1st March 1999, Acorn released  volumes three and four. As a bonus, the tapes included Don Estelle & Windsor Davies' appearence on Top of the Pops performing the No.1 hit "Whispering Grass"

All four of the Acorn Videos have since been released as a box set. This was released on the 2nd August 1999 under the catalogue number of AV1002
