You should NEVER say ‘never’, especially not when 13 Anastasia fans get together! So what’s this story about anyways? US! We’re a few the Anya’s Journey Anastasia fans, and this story is about us, all living together, having a good time. Before you start reading about our antics and crazy adventures, you need some basic facts first! Like, where we live, what our house looks like, who we are, even what our rooms or cars look like! Why is this so important? It’ll help you get the feel of the story better, hopefully!

So where do we all live? In a little town called Maybery, CA. (Special thanks to Veronica for the idea of that town name.) It was created for the story and is not in any association with Mayberry, NC in the Andy Griffith show. It’s spelled different on purpose! Maybery is a normal town with a mall, stores, and civilization – only because I don’t need Kelly to go insane from living without urbanization! ;D It’s a half mile from the beach in Northern CA. Is there really a town in CA named Maybery? I haven’t the slightest idea. This story isn’t COPMLETELY accurate.

What does our house look like? We live at number 1926 Elm Street – a quiet, typical-looking American street with green grass, tall shady trees, that sort of thing. Our house is bigger then most on the street (go figure, there are only 13 of us living there!). It’s an old southern style house, two stories with a big veranda across the front bottom and half around the sides. It’s a rustic blue color with beige highlights.

When you walk in the front door, you’re in the main hall. The room to your right is the living room, with comfortable furniture and a fireplace. Over to the left is our large den, with a huge screen TV (complete with surround sound, VCR and DVD players), couches, easy chairs, a few beanbags, and LOTS of tapes and DVDs! There’s even a large wall with a huge poster of Anastasia! At the far end (away from the front of the house) is a bar, but we don’t have liquor (not that anyone knows of anyways). We usually serve cokes (or whatever our favorite drinks are). A door beside the bar leads into the kitchen. Back out in the hall – the staircase is against the right wall. Past the staircase on the left is the kitchen, big and convenient. There’s a door in the kitchen that leads to the basement. On the right side of the hall is a game room, complete with pool table and air hockey table. The basement is large, with regular carpet (since no one liked shag!) and a karaoke machine, radio, and hundreds of CDs. Not to mention a few chairs and a couch and several Anastasia posters. Upstairs are our bedrooms. I’ll get into that in a minute.

Out the back door is a deck and a huge yard. We have an in-ground pool, hot tub, hammock, gazebo, and a volleyball net. We’ve also got a huge oak tree, with a really nice tree-house and tire-swing.

What year is it!? I got this question a lot from people! The year is 2001, not 1926.

Who are our neighbors? Across the street is Ms. Cora Beth Wall, a nosy woman who lives by herself and constantly gossips. Also across the street is the Smith family – Kevin, Johanna, and their 10 year old son, Ricky. The Smith’s have a dog named Partner that comes over a lot to hang around Lauren. Down the street live Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Snoch. Herbert leaves people alone, but Wynnett is always against us. Ms. Abigail and Ms. Ramona also live down the street and don’t like us. (And these four old ladies are best friends, to make our lives worse sometimes!). Ms. Cora Beth also has a granddaughter named Becca, who despises all of us.

Do we have any pets? You bet! There’s Veronica’s dog, Casey. He’s a Golden Retriever who loves people and cats. There’s Em’s kitten, Sooty, who’s 6 months old. Julie’s cat, Angel, Nancy's cat Sneakers, and of course, Kelly’s cats, the main one that hangs around the house is Mikitty. (Sorry Kelly, the rest of your 11 cats have to stay outside! We don’t have much room!)

Does anyone drive in the story? Lauren, Jaina, Anya and I all drive cars in the story. Lauren drives a 2000 Black Camero, Jaina drives a black hummer, Anya drives a 2000 Silver Mustang Convertible, and I drive a 1997 Red Chrysler Sebring Convertible.

What do everyone’s rooms look like? We all have pretty different tastes and interior decorating patterns! Anya, Lauren, Kelly, Jen and myself share one huge room. It’s really 5 rooms and we knocked the walls out between them. (That’s not that ridiculous either, I saw it in a movie once!) Everyone else pretty much wanted rooms to themselves, so here’s what our individual spaces look like:
Anya’s Room – Anya didn’t give me MUCH of her room’s description, but she does have all sorts of Anastasia stuff in her space, and lots of Christmas lights hanging around.
Ashley’s Room - Ashley has blue carpet, a bay window and a window seat, white walls, desk, computer, bookshelves, an Anastasia poster, and purple and blue curtains.
Em’s Room – Em also has a bay window and a window seat, blue walls and a wooden floor, a swirling chair and a desk, photo albums and cameras, bookshelves, a picture of Paul Walker, a snowglobe of Breckenridge, and she has lots of paints and brushes all over the floor, because she paints.
Jaina’s Room – Jaina’s room is jungle green and she has jungle stuff in it (but NOT the jungle animals. I’m giving her a desk and soft green carpet.
Jen’s Room – Jen’s space is an Anastasia/Dimitri shrine, with lots of history stuff in it too (like Medieval, Ancient Greece, Victorian Era, Twenties, Fifties, and island theme stuff WITHOUT the fish). She has posters of hot guys and an awesome computer so she can update AJ and read stories. She also has this “autographed” pair of boxers. Her part of the room is Dimitri Vest Green, which includes the carpet.
Julie’s Room – Julie has a bookshelf, a computer desk and a computer, a comfy chair. Her entire room is Anastasia themed (the wall paper, the bedspread, the curtains…).
Kelly’s Room – Kelly’s space is done in an Egyptian Conservatory Fresco with an Egyptian couch/bed (and her elephant pillow), an Eiffel Tower Lamp and Bottle, Anastasia posters, NYC posters, an Anastasia doll display and a 1940 doll display, a wall of bookshelves, Theater masks, and her Egyptian Bastet (her personal cat goddess).
Lauryn’s Room – Lauren’s space completely counteracts Kelly’s (purposely). She has Backstreet Boys posters all over, as well as Broadway stuff, Matt Damon posters, and Real World stuff.
Michelle’s Room – Michelle’s room has blue walls, lighthouse stuff, and Anastasia stuff.
Miranda’s Room –Miranda has white walls with Anastasia posters on them, a white desk, a white mirror (with pictures of the royal family on it), white bookshelves lining one wall, full of Anastasia books and merchandise, a canopy bed with a white bedspread and a TV/VCR.
Miska’s Room – Miska has lots of movie posters and pictures of old-time movie stars, a canopy bed, a desk and computer, a bulletin board, shelves for various knick-knacks, and the entire room is done in blues, greens, oranges, and reds.
Nancy's Room - Nancy's room has sea blue walls and ceiling with a maritime theme, Anastasia production drawings on the walls, a window seat, bookselves filled with books, fresh flowers, a computer and a desk, sketchpads, fish nets on the ceiling with seashells and buoys in them, chinese hanging lanterns, and several large windows.
Sherrie’s Room – My room has soft carpet, a circular bed, lava lamps, black lights, those really cool colored lights you see in Spencer’s and at dances, and a disco ball in the middle, and it’s done in all SORTS of colors. I’ve painted all over my walls (including a gigantic pic of Dimitri), and I have a beanbag. I own a NICE computer that doesn’t lock up on me every time I log online (and it also has an extremely quick connection rate), I have a few Christmas lights around too, lots of posters (Anastasia, Titan AE, Herbie, Beatles, Monkees) pictures, lovebeads hanging down over the window and door, and a nice stereo.
Veronica’s Room – Veronica’s room is painted blue and the carpet is also blue. She has a huge bookshelf, a computer and a printer. Oh yea, and a bed for Casey!

I also do not own any of the “Anastasia” characters or “Titan AE” characters (this includes Anya, Dimitri, Vladimir, Sophie, Marie, Pooka, Cale and Akima). These characters are all owned by Fox.
