Country: USA

Favorite Movie: It's a toss between West Side Story and Anastasia

Favorite Anastasia Character: Anya. She reminds me of- me!

Favorite Piece of Anastasia Writing: The only Anastasia stuff I've written so far is my 'Friendship Renewed' series. I'm on the lookout for inspiration, though!

Favorite Piece of Non-Anastasia Writing: I've written this Mulan fan fic, but I'm having some trouble getting it up...

Who's Your Favorite Writer: Charles Dickens, Victor Hugo, Louisa May Alcott, and Jane Austen. I don't think I've left anyone out!

What's Your Favorite Book: I have a ton: Pride and Prejudice, Les Miserables, A Tale of Two Cities, and Uncle Tom's Cabin..

Least Favorite Book You Ever Read: The Red Badge of Courage! The main character started out as being an idiot, and he ended up as being an even bigger one! Not the kind of thing I look for in a book! Of course, if you want to see the de-braining process...

What's Your Next Anastasia FanFic Going to Be: I'm not too sure...I may take *someone*'s suggestion and do one where they're walking from Russia to where they get on the boat.

April 2000:

Name: Kelly

Age: 15 -- I'll be 16 on April 17th

Country: USA

Favorite Movie: Anastasia, definitely!

Favorite Anastasia Character: Dimitri!

Favorite Piece of Anastasia Writing: I guess my serial A Journey to the Past.  I usually like my comedies, but I was able to really let go and let my senses take over in writing that one.

Favorite Piece of Non-Anastasia Writing: This one's tough.  I did a Russian Revolution Story I'm currently rewriting that I really enjoy.  It's about a White Army Spy by the name of Markus who is forced to team up with the sly and very French Bernadette, who is a niece to one of the servants killed with the Romanovs.  He's very orderly and reserved, she's very outgoing and curious, and it was sort of a ying and yang story.  It had a lot of adventure -- I like writing lots of action and comedy, with some drama thrown in.

First Novel You Ever Wrote: I was in first or second grade.  It was a cheap-o few pages thing about Goldilocks meeting Snow White, I think.  The first novel that I really wrote and had a big concept of plot was when I was about 11 or 12.  It was a story of the son of Robin Hood, and how he had lived this ordinary life not knowing that his father had been *the* Robin Hood, but when his dad dies the kingdom goes into upheaval and he has to don the bow and arrows himself.  It was about all of their kids, with Little John's son, Friar Tuck's niece who was a nun, Alan A'Dale's minstrel son, etc.  There was lots of action and "romance" between he and his best friend Catherine, who ended up in the new band of Merry Men.  It was kind of cheesy, but I was really proud of it at the time.

How Many Anastasia Stories Have You Written: I wrote around 13 back in 1998 that I ended up pulling because I didn't like how I did them.  Now I have "Tasha", "The Spirit of Friendship", and "A Journey to the Past", all of which are serials or have multiple parts. I also wrote "A Piece of Peach Pie" which has one part.

Who's Your Favorite Writer: Charles Dickens or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.  I love their books, and really respect their writings and lives.  In more modern writers, I like Margaret George.  I'd love to do great historical epics like her.

What's Your Favorite Book: That's really, really tough.  A few of my favorites are "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne, which I transcribed into a musical a few years ago, and "A Tale of Two Cities" by Dickens.  My favorite series is the Ramses Books by Christian Jacq.

Least Favorite Book You Ever Read: Ever try reading "The Wings of the Dove" by Henry James?  Don't.

Anything You'd Like to Let the Reader Know About One of Your Stories: Keep a look out for symbols from the movie in A Journey to the Past.  I analyzed a lot, from Vlad's uniform, to his yellow tie when he meets Sophie, to Dimitri's watch.

What's Your Next Anastasia FanFic Going to Be: I have a few ideas for some, and I've been getting some requests for a Lara and Mikhail story, so maybe I'll try that.  I'd like to do something SHORT for a change!  :D
