Genealogy of the Henry's of
Claremont.

Welcome to our family home page, dedicated to the search of long
lost family members, and the sharing of genealogy information with
anyone interested.
WE (Ian & Marg) came to be in Claremont, Ontario, Canada in
1996. The Henry side of our family came to Canada in 1969 leaving
many relatives in England. Prior to that we originated in Ireland.
Currently we do not have any information beyond Patrick Joseph Henry,
born in Kildare, Ireland in the 1870's. We have been much more
successful in tracing a closely related line of Fairhead's. We have
much information on this line dating back to Mathew Fairhead born
about 1680 in England.
On the Jameson side of our family we have information on the
Ruttan family dating back to the late 1500's and an off shoot of
them, the Demarets, going back to the 1000's. Our latest update adds
more than 2000 relations mostly descended from Henry Howland, father
of John Howland, passenger on the Mayflower.
