other stuff:

It will be interesting to see how good Dominic Roussel will be able to speak German at the end of the season, because the fans were able to hear a few sentences in German from him at the season-opening-party, what is related to the short time he is in Germany pretty good. His "teacher" Marc Fortier explained aswell that his Canadian team-mate tries to learn the language in six months. Well, if German is as hard to learn for Canadians as French is for Germans this won't get easy at all. He also got soon into the "dance-tradition" of the Frankfurt Lions goalkeepers: After a victory the audience can see the "towel-number".

To come to a sport-aspect: One of the strength of the Canadian in the goal of the Frankfurt Lions is his good glove hand with which he can catch pucks other goalies would just let drop. As his weakness I found at an American homepage that he doesn't like to come out and cut the angle. But the former NHL goalie has certainly found a way to solve this problem. I've seen that he often goes down on his knees to make shure that no puck finds its way into the net on the way near the ice. He does that althought no opponent shot the puck into his direction just to be shure.

a quote: Dominic Roussel on the birth of his baby boy, "His eyes are wide open and he looks alert. He might be a goalie."
