Second chapter to be organized in Idaho --March 29, 1910.

Charter granted:  May 3, 1912 --  Louise Finney Stone was the Organizing Regent.

The name "Pocahontas" came from an organizing member, Mrs. Lawwill, who was
a descendent of Pocahontas.

The Chapter has placed three markers along the Oregon Trail.

We have a scholarship fund in honor of Louise Finney Stone at Albertson
College of Idaho.  This scholarship is given to an upper class member
majoring in History.

We always have good participation by the schools in the DAR Good Citizen
Contest and the American History Essay Contest.  Our Chapter often has
sponsored state and regional winners.

Regular meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month except during
the summer.  The programs are always very interesting and very well attended.
