Brief Introduction

The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur (IETK) was inaugurated in 1996. Since then , it has come a long way in its quest for excellence in the field of technical education. It is one among the very few institutes achieving such success in their years of infancy. This can be substantiated by the fact that IETK was certified the best among all the new engineering colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for two successive years. We are optimistic to continue this record for years to come.

The purpose of this site is to give an insight into the structure, academics and general information about the institute. It is intended to make this site as informative as possible not only for prospective candidates but also for the students in various other technical institutions across the world.
