Ingredients: | |
1 1/2 c Bisquick mix | 1 Egg |
1/4 c Milk | 1 c 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese |
1 tsp. Poppy seeds | 2 Tb Butter, melted |
1. Combine Bisquick, egg, milk and 1/2 cup of the cheese; stir just until moistened. |
2. The dough will be stiff but sticky. With floured hands, pat dough evenly onto bottom of greased 9 inch pie pan. |
3. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and pour butter over top. |
4. Bake at 400øF for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. |
5. Cut into wedges and serve hot. |
Tip: A definite cheese flavor. Best served fresh from the oven, but can be reheated. |
