Sears Tower Saturday late morning. I was passing by on the "El" when I took this photo. The reflection is from the windows of the "El" car.
Sears Tower Friday evening.
311 South Wacker Drive is directly across the street from the Sears Tower. This was supposed to be a complex with 3 identical buildings. One only has been built. The top lights up at night. It was my favorite building in Chicago.
The maroon arrow points to our hotel. The green arrow points to the pool. The red building(s) to the left is the Hilton Chicago.
Marina City. 60 storeys of condos, all with open balconies. They have a short piece of glass as a railing. From the Sears Tower, you could zoom in with the telescopes and see people sitting on their deck chairs with fake turf on most of the balconies. Imagine parking 20 storeys up, as well.
Millennium Park from the Sears Tower. Notice the Amplitheatre (left) and the Footbridge (right). |
The Mirrored bubble at Millennium Park. I circled myself in orange in the reflection; can you see me? |
