| Its no longer much of a secret that Cedar Point is planning something big for their 2003 season, however it is no longer just supports that are being erected, but track as well. The first official track erecting has taken place 10/2/02. Please don't mind the spiders in the picture, I mean Halloween is less than a month away. | Ultimately, most Cedar Point enthusiasts beleive that the new 2003 attraction will be the much bigger brother of its sister park, Knott's Berry Farm. Xcelerator, sporting an LIM launched track up a 90 degree twisting incline over 200 feet into the air was opened June 22 of 2002 this year. The major problem however is that the ride lasts barely over a minute. Hopefully the impact a clone of this type will provide, will be the greatest riding experience ever. |
