Open to Growth
Specifically, the student should be maked by a number of characteristics. A Saint Ignatius student is one who is open to growth. He seeks oppurtunities to stretch his mind, imagination, feelings, and religious consciousness.

Excerpt from the SIHS website
Jennifer have helped us students in stretching our minds. She has done this by relating her real life experiences. Not many teachers do this, this adds a sense of caring to the classroom. She tells us of her life growing up and the mistakes she made. She is also always willing to help with any question any time. She tells us what days she's available and where we can find her.
Imagination. She continually teaches us not to back down from what we beleive in. We learned this in our debates, not only that we learned how to persuade others to beleive us too. She never ridicules or judges us on what we want to do with our lives. I remember one day after class she asked me what i wanted to do when i grew up. I told her an engineer. Not only did she have reccomendations on where to go to college, but she also had tips and advice. She was even able to relating the stuff she is teaching us to how it will help me in the engineering field.
Feelings. Not only is she a teacher, but she cares. She cares about our relationships with friends, families, and even girlfriends. She is always their with comfort our advice and willing to stick up for someone when they are getting picked on. She always has great advice when getting presents for the girlfriend or mother for mother's day. You can't as many teachers what a good gift to get your girlfriend for your 5 month anniversary would be, but you can ask her.
Religious Consciousness. This I will go into more detail later on.
