Cisco Threaded Case Study: IGRP

This is the IGRP information for my school.  IGRP incorporates the school into the school system as part of an autonomous system.

IGRP could be implemented in the school LAN design.  There are multiple schools that must be able to communicate with each other.  This is known as an autonomous system, for which IGRP is the best choice protocol.  IGRP has hold down timers and other implementations to stop routing loops, which would be important for the schools also.  Using IGRP on all the routers in the various schools’ MDF will allow them to communicate to each other and help speed up the transfer time between schools.
