I HATE ZOOTS.COM!!! | |||||||||||
Zoots.com ripped us off. They lost over $200 worth of our clothing and household items, and now refuse to reimburse us. The Zoots driver picked up a bag of our belongings on April 26, 2001 - that was the last I ever saw them. After numerous complaints to Zoots, they finally forwarded our case to their claims manager. The claims manager did everything he could to avoid talking to us. He never returned our calls, and any time we actually spoke to him he was very vague about what would happen next. This idiot even suggested that someone STOLE our Zoots bag from our front porch, replacing it with an empty Zoots bag that they had the forethought to acquire. Finally, on June 28, 2001, the Zoots claims manager called our home and left voice mail (despite the fact that he has numbers for both of us at work). Because they have no "work order" for our items they have "no proof" that they ever picked them up and therefore owe us nothing. As of the beginning of 2002, we had filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I heard back from the BBB that they had officially listed Zoots as a problem company because they "do not respond" to offers to mediate by the BBB or to customer complaints. Apparently, the list of rants against these thieves continues to grow. TRANSLATION: Because of their driver's stupidity or incompetence, a work order was either lost or never created. Therefore, it is our word against Zoots, and apparently our word is worth nothing. The empty Zoots bag that was left in place of our items means nothing. And Zoots now refuses to reimburse us for the things that THEY lost!! We lost over $200 worth of clothing and household items, thanks to Zoots. PLEASE DON'T PATRONIZE ZOOTS.COM!!! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY WHEN THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS. |
