Service Contract
1.
Hourly Labor Rate
$65.00 per hour.(In Shop) Minimum labor charge ½
hour.
2.
*After Hours
Labor Rate $130.00 per hour.
3.
30 Days Warranty
on All Refurbished Parts and Computers.
4.
We are not
responsible for damage to computers due to neglect or misuse.
5.
50%
non-refundable deposit is required for all specialty work, if payee decides to
keep work the deposit will be deducted from final bill. All work/computers not picked-up within 30 day after completion notice has been forwarded,
becomes the property of Computer Solutions.
6.
1-year warranty
on parts and labor, this warranty only covers items that you paid Computer Solutions to
install. On a new a system this would
include all items installed when the system was built. This warranty does not cover the labor for
upgrades. Software problems are not
covered under warranty.
Why Doesn’t Warranty
Cover Software Problems?
Bugs- Many software programs, even those from large companies
like Microsoft have bugs. Since we do
not have access to the software’s source code we cannot correct bugs in
software. Only future updates where the
manufacturer fixes the bugs can correct these types of problems.
Viruses- When using the Internet, or if you use burned CDs you may contract a virus on your computer. Even when the virus is removes there still
may be damage that can only be repaired by erasing your hard drive and
reloading all of your software.
For this reason we
cannot cover these types of problems under warranty.
Corruption- Data corruption of software can occur from power
surges, improper computer shutdown, bugs in software, viruses, or even during
installation of a new program. Again,
this is not a defect in the computer that can be correct by replacing any of
the hardware components of the system and for this reason we cannot warranty
such problem.
Surge Protection
Your computer’s warranty does not cover damage by acts of
nature, power surges, or any other power related problems. Please use a good surge protector and make
sure it has modem protection as well.
If you do not have modem protection you will likely end up replacing
your modem very time a big storm pass through.

normal business hours 9:00am to 6:00pm Mon - Fri 10:00am to 4pm Saturday Sunday Closed
