dillo-0.7.3-20030926-tabs.patch.gz [NOT UPDATED]

A tabbed version of Dillo also includes frameset and iframe support, keyboard navigation, keywords and configurable key bindings. This is version 16 of the patch. This is mostly a bugfix and CVS resync release. More information on the changes can be found in the posting I made to the mailinglist (repeated in the README link on this page). For an overview of new features, have a look at the README for version 15. Please test this patch, and tell me or the list about your experiences. Please be aware that the frameset support is based on xhtml-dtd-frameset, so pages which are made for Netscape- or Microsoft-specific frameset implementations might not render correctly. The latest patch is only available for the 20031124@13:18GMT CVS version of Dillo. The 0.7.3 (release) version of the patch has not been updated. Make sure to download the correct version! For the CVS version make sure to run ./autogen.sh after applying the patch! |

Keyboard navigation for Dillo includes configurable key bindings This is version 5 of my keyboard navigation patch. Do note that the tab/frame patch already contains this functionality, so there is no need (and no way) to apply this patch on top of that or the other way around. This is a bug fix and CVS resync release, there is no new functionality since version 4. Please test it and let me know what you (don't) like. More information on keyboard navigation and configurable key bindings can be found in the document doc/Keyboard_Navigation.txt (repeated in this README) Keyboard navigation has grown up, it is more or less complete now. There have been many internal changes, leading to a much more robust implementation. Links are now highlighted in a distinct way, with a dashed inverse frame around highlighted text. Link navigation should now be reliable in any direction (up, down, left, right). Scrolling movements are minimized, the code starts looking for links in the currently visible part of the document. The Tab/Shift-Tab keys now really work as advertised (in the tab/frames patch they can also be used to move focus between frames). This patch is made against the 20031124@13:18GMT CVS version of Dillo 0.8.0-pre. There is currently no version for 0.7.3, and there will probably never be one. 0.8.0-pre is shaping up pretty well, so all of those who still run 0.7.3 might want to give it a try... Make sure to run ./autogen.sh after applying the patch! |
