BODYMAP HILDE SMITH

Hilde Smith´s textiles did much to create the individual look of the new Bodymap collections.  Her best know prints remain those for the winter 1984/5 show ´Cat in the Hat takes a tumble with a techno fish´ .  The word ´techno´  was the key to the development of a range of black and white fabrics intended to explore the idea of computers-aided design and tried to create a technological hard edge to the design using only eye and hand.
