				JOEY ARIAS bio by NICKY LONDON
						Joey Arias has been a fixture in the New York freak scene since the mid 70’s. As part of the Fiorucci shop and Klaus Nomi’s back up singer, Joey also preformed   with David Bowie and Iggy Pop. Through the years Joey has done many   female impersinations like Joan Crawford as well as singing in his real voice as   Billie Holiday. He has also made dozens of stage, club and film appearances such as Mondo New York, Too Wong Foo, Wigstock, Flawless and many more. As busy as he is he also finds time to be an interviewer for Paper, Interview and Details magazines. Joey is currently appearing in Cirque Du Soleil production of Zumanity at New York New York in Las Vegas. www.joeyarias.com
