Kindergarten is off to a great start and we are in for an exciting year! Family involvement is an extremely important aspect of your child's education, and we will have fun monthly projects for you to work on together at home. These projects are designed with the goal of promoting family togetherness, while increasing the student's creativity and fine motor skills.
This month's project is a self-portrait of your child (which will be on display in our classroom all year long). Attached you will find a head and shoulders outline. The task is for you and your child to make this shape look like your child. You may use any medium/materials you wish such as paint, yarn, digital photos, etc. It is fine if you wish to attach the outline to cardboard or poster board to increase sturdiness.
Please return these to school by August 27th so that your child can share them with the class.
