Sorry everyone, I know the thing about daily updates....never happened yesterday and the day before after yesterday, cuz I pulled the muscles above my elbows and I could lift anything or actually bend it....had some good anti-muscle inflamma-something....all I know is dat it worked! :D probably going to the osage tonight! =>.....just sitting here right now.....

Chapter Sixteen: Wingly or Obit?

Yu barred his teeth and glared at Lloyd, “I’m here to take her back, you asshole!” He raised the Oblivion.

“Really....you may be here, but you certainly didn’t count on winning, now did you...?” Lloyd squatted and kept his Dragonbuster level with the ground.

Yu narrowed his eyes at him. The black of the night re-transformed him back to his Obit form.

Eiko took a few steps back. She had been right about him! h was an Obit! Suddenly, for about the first time ever, she was completely horrified by him.

Lloyd’s wings sprung from his back and glowed an iridescent shade of silver from the light of a full moon.

Yu took his head back for a last, longing look at Eiko. He turned back around and screamed out his war cry. he charged at Lloyd with the Oblivion.

The battle had begun.

The wingly smirked evilly and ran to meet his challenger, the Dragonbuster ready to swing and strike at Yu.

Daisuke, hearing Yu’s cry, set his hands together like an unclapped clap. A red spark appeared in the middle of the space between both of his hands. The spark grew bigger, becoming a large, crimson flare. It stopped growing all together and Daisuke shifted it to one hand. He threw it up in the air and sailed above Kazas.

suddenly-------loud-----earthshattering BOOM!

It had exploded like a giant firework and it shook the earth.

Lavitz’s eyes basically popped out of his head as he saw, heard, and felt the red flare Daisuke had told him to look for above Kazas.

Lumiale had already awoken everyone, and Lavitz didn’t need to tell him about the flare. The explosion had spread across the night sky like a giant blanket, and the sky it’s resting place.

Lumiale and Lavitz shot off towards the fortress. The rest of the group, mortified with terror had no choice really but to follow them.

Dart in the rest of the groups lead, Rose a step behind, Tatsumi and Arios side-by-side, and Shana just lagging behind.

Daisuke, sensing the newest commotion on the ground, unsheathed Flyhyde and flew into the circular hole that Yu had made previously. He landed behind Eiko and placed his arms around her stomach, picking her up and ready to carry her off.

Eiko screamed, kicked, shouted, and flailed at her new assailant.

“PUT ME THE FREAK DOWN!!!!” She barred her teeth and bit one of his arms.

“OWW! DAMMIT! I’M A FRIEND OF YU’S!!! JUST CHILL FOR A MOMENT OR SO!!!....”

“Why....” She stopped struggling *’Friend of Yu’s...?’*and crossed her arms. “You’re the one that just came up behind me....how am I supposed to chill?!” She turned around and glanced at him. Her gaze fell, her eyes widened. He was an Obit too!

“....Like I said...I’m a friend of Yu’s.....my name is Daisuke....” He sighed and looked down at the battlefield abruptly.

She jerked her head at Yu. The sound of him gasping in pain rung in and out of her ears. The Dragonbuster had hit him in the side, a dark flow of crimson liquid pouring from his wound.

He eyes bulged, “YU!!!” She struggled in Daisuke’s arms again, “Lemme go!!!”

“No, you can’t get hurt as well....”

“I said lemme go!”

Daisuke stayed silent.

Eiko, in frustration, cast out her wings and glowed white.

Daisuke sprung away, he had been blinded by the light and taken aback by the wings effect of spurting out so quickly.

She stood in front of Yu just as Lloyd had raised the Dragonbuster above their heads and was ready to hack off Yu’s head.

He paused.

He wasn’t going to hit her with such a hurt look in her eyes. Her eyes seemed as though they were the ones with blood spilling from them.

She drew her Light Valkyrie.

Lloyd’s eyes widened. Was she really going to slay him?

She raised it level to the ground and swung around in a sphere shape.

Lloyd fell back. Was she actually swinging her blade at him? Or was he dreaming. It wasn’t really a dream though, rather a nightmare.

He’d moved back as soon as the sword came at him and slipped away from it only by a few inches. He stared blankly at her.

She just glared at him. Her blazing eyes not faltering a moment of piercing.

He was too stunned to move for a moment. Then, he just smirked another evil smirk, “Well, I think I see it now....”

“See what...?” She asked through her teeth.

Lloyd narrowed his eyes and raised his sword high, “Oh don’t act like you don’t know.....did you really think you could’ve pulled such a thing off?....I’m surprised at you Eiko.....very...” He brought down the Dragonbuster.

Yu sat up fast.

Eiko had blocked it with her blade at the last minute, the metal clanging together. Ricocheting off like the same poles of two magnets.

“So.....you have smooth reflexes.....” Lloyd grinned and raised an eyebrow.

She continued to glare at him, “Talk can kill ya, Yunno...”

He lifted both of his eyebrows in a deep, sarcastic surprise, “Really...?”

Eiko narrowed her eyes at him.

SWOOSH!

CLANG!

He blocked her move.

CLANG!

SWOOSH!

MISS!

Gravity interlocked with the turns.

“Why Yu, I’ll never know....” Lloyd shook his head as the blades bounced off of each other.

Yu glared at him and clutched the hilt of the Oblivion, now on something of a crab walk.

“Does it look like I care...” She raised the Light Valkyrie and it danced to the beat of her feet.

CLANG!

SWOOSH!

SLICE!

Lloyd fell back. A small indent on his left upper arm appeared in a red streak, “Seems you’ve hit me this time....”

“Urch, I’m not blind......”

Daisuke was able to see now. It seemed that that her statement of being blind and all had revitalized the sensation of how his eyes combined with his sense of seeing. He now swooped down to Yu, whom was now lost in a puddle of Blood. Daisuke bit his lip and said something softly.

Yu’s wound healed under his words and he sat up. He nodded at Daisuke and went upright, murmuring, “Eiko, I’ve got this now...”

She turned around, her back at the wingly, “Yu....?” She gasped and glanced at Daisuke.

She took a step or two forward.

Lloyd’s arm reached around her waist and encased her arms to a point of an immovable-like stage.

A scream soon followed. She dropped her sword.

Yu’s eyes bulged. He had had this dream. Only to have it all over again.

She outstretched her hand and cried out to him.

Yu ran to her, the blackness on him fading, his legs going as fast as they would let themselves and thrice over.

Lloyd smirked in Yu’s eyes and raised the Dragonbuster.

He sliced her neck.

Immediately, the blood ran like a river down her neck.

Yu stopped in midair, jaw dropped. He watched as Lloyd let her go and fall to the ground. The red liquid spilled from the slit, her eyes rolled around for a moment and went dark, dull, lifeless.

“EIKO!!!” Yu yelled and glimpsed Lloyd. “YOU!!!” He flew at Lloyd, Oblivion in hand. In one swipe, Lloyd’s head and body were apart on the floor. Blood seeped into crevices on the floor, making tiny tributaries.

Daisuke turned pale and looked away. He hated the site of blood. Really, he didn’t care to much for the color red either.

Yu dropped to the ground and then slipped to his knees at Eiko’s side. Dead. No thought that he had in his mind could explain it better.

Yet, the question, Wingly or Obit?, no longer remains. For the Obit has one but he has lost his Espial.

Lloyd: Dead, remember...?

Omni: oh.....^.^;sorry about that....

Lloyd: Sure yah are.....- -U...

Lloyd: O.o....

Hrrmm....I was outta school for two days, but couldn’t get on the comp....due to that muscle thingy.......when I came back today lotsa ppl kept asking what happened to me.....so I told them! :D.....I’m loved! “P! anywho.....O.o....what really gets me is that the guy that sits next to me in math thought I died and one guy in Language Arts was concerned about me and I haven’t talked to him in SOA knows how long.....O.o.....he sits behind me.....guess he has a thing 4 me or something....O.o....

Next: Deaad!!! Eiko’s Deaad! Can Daisuke revive her? O.o.....who knows.....? Really who does, cuz I certainly don’t.....^^;....
