I’m really killing Aer with this whole Lloyd head popped off thing! XP....maybe if we get ‘nuff reviews saying they want Lloyd back that does not count Aer.....maybe I’ll revive him or sumthing....XD!

Omni: Another chapter!

Yu: ....who’s dying? .....O.o I’m not kissing anyone again am I?!

Omni: ....maybe...

Yu: NO!

Omni: Admit it, you liked it when you kissed Eiko!

Yu: FREAK NO!

Omni: Why does it says so then?.....

Yu: Cuz you wrote it....

Omni: Did I?

Yu: HELL WOMAN SHUT IT UP!

Omni: ;____; YOU! *runs off*

Yu: .......-.-U

Chapter Nineteen: Death by numbers

Doel......

Everyone fell silent.

What would they do if Emperor Doel did show up and his insanity with him?

“Well.....” Rose started. “We could wait around for him.....or we could go find him.........or we could get the hell outta here before we do happen to find him or vice versa.....”

Eiko looked up at the group, “Doel....?”

Setsuna’s stomach set a flame. Did Eiko know where he was hiding? “Eiko do you know where he is.....?”

“Where who is?...All I have seen here is......Lloyd.......and the guards outside my door....” She confessed.

“It’s obvious then.....” Yu concluded.

Attention fell on him once again.

Lavitz blinked and interrogated, “Well, what’s obvious.....or are you not going to tell us?....”

Daisuke stepped in, “Doel didn’t know she was here......”

Dead silence swept the room again. It seemed like a regular visitor.

After a few moments, Dart spoke up, “What if he did know she was here.....? He just didn’t care to tell.....”

Everyone’s eyes flew to the blonde haired young man.

What if he was right?

“Well, there’s not much use in waiting around to find out....is there?....” Lumiale crossed his arms and leaned up against the wall behind him.

Setsuna nodded, “We should go before we ourselves are killed....”

Everyone agreed and filed out of the chamber all except Tatsumi, Daisuke, Yu, and Eiko.

Tatsumi let out a hand to help Eiko up from Yu’s lap.

Eiko smiled a bit and took her hand. In a matter of seconds, she found herself standing upright and in front of Tatsumi.

Eiko took a step back over Yu’s legs and stood aside Tatsumi.

Daisuke looked around the room, “Since we can individually transport......and since there’s a hole there.....it makes all since that it’d be quicker to go out the way we came in....” Daisuke cocked his head over to the hole that Yu had made earlier and what they had flown through.

Yu nodded and back flipped himself up into a standing position. He gave a fast glance at Eiko and then back to Daisuke, “I’ll get Tatsumi you get Eiko.....” Yu spread out his wings, flew up into the air, did a u-turn, picked up Tatsumi by the waist, and flew out of the hole.

Daisuke watched them go and the turned to Eiko, “I suppose that means I take you...” He grinned.

Eiko smiled back for a moment and it faded away as she stared down at her feet. She had wanted to go with Yu. She needed to ask him questions. And that was exactly what Yu was avoiding.

“Yunno.....I know I’m not Kanzanawa, but you could atleast be a bit more happier that you have me taking you outta here.....” He bent down and looked into her eyes.

Eiko’s eyes rounded and grew soft, “What do you mean?....”

“Eh.....I know you like Yu......I know that Setsuna told you.......and I know your full of questions.......but it just kinda fell into the way that I’m taking you outta here.......”

Like Yu? Did she like Yu? No, that was absurd. But, did she?

Eiko just shrugged.

Daisuke sighed, “I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I do know when to get out of a fortress with a bunch of people bent on killing us....so I do believe we should really get going now......”

Eiko looked up at him and smirked. If Yu didn’t have time for her then she didn’t for him. Simple as that. “I’m sorry......This thing with the obit......it’s just.......”

“Scary.....strange.....weird?....” Daisuke answered.

“Yah.....it’s not really an everyday thing to figure out that one of the people you’ve been traveling with forever is one of those people that will eventually destroy the world.....I mean....I’m pretty sure the two of you would never do that.....but........there is always that possibility.....” She bit her lip.

“Hmm.....well....I can’t fly without being in my obit form....but.....” To tell her about SOA? Why not he was halfway there. “SOA sent me......”

Eiko was taken aback, “What?....”

“I’m one of SOA’s Seraphs....see?...” He unsheathed the Flyblade.

Eiko’s eyes grew big as she looked among the letters that spelled out ‘Flyhyde’, “Wow......I didn’t think obits....were....”

“Holy.....? Heh.....not really....”

How does he know what I’m going to say or what I’m thinking?

“How do you know what I’m going to say.......or thinking......?” she took a daring leap out of her pit of questions.

Daisuke felt his heart beat faster. How to answer this one? That he had watched her ever since the day Yu met her and fell in love with her? Well, he certainly could not say that. That would make him sound like....a stalker, a pervert. Something. “I guess it’s just a thing.......”

“Can you tell what other people are going to say or think.....?”

“Yu....sometimes....because of our......Obit senses....but that only about seventeen percent of the time......”

So how did he know what she was going to say and was thinking?

“Your name’s Daisuke...right?”

Daisuke felt he was loosing her. ‘Great, she can’t even remember my name....’ “Yah, Daisuke, Daisuke Kugami....”

“Daisuke Kugami....Seraph of SOA....” Eiko made out the title.

“Heh....not exactly a ring tone, but it works for me.....”

“Doesn’t sound bad at all......DKSS.......remind me when we get somewhere about cloth and DKSS....okay....?” She declared.

“Why.....?”

“No reason....”

“Well....alright, but I wouldn’t depend on my memory for very much.....it isn’t the best one in the world......”

“Chh...” Eiko shrugged. “But like you said, we really do need to go......”

Daisuke nodded and flew up into the air. Pulling a shorter u-turn than Yu, lifted Eiko from the ground, and soaring through the hole.

--To the group that hasn’t flown through that hole--

Setsuna tossed her eyes around, “Where did those obits, Tatsumi, and Eiko go.....?”

“I’m sure they’ve found another way out......” Lumiale assured her.

Setsuna nodded and pressed on down the hallway. She tried to follow they same path as they had in as to not get themselves lost within this tower. Which was exactly the last thing she had wanted to happen to them.

Dart drew his blade and kept an eye out for both Tatsumi and a guard or soldier of some sort.

As they continued on, he ended up stepping over a few that they had killed on their way through the fortress and to save Eiko.

Just then, A band of about five or so guards or soldiers sprung on them.

Dart and Rose were quick to spring out their additions.

“Volcano Rush!”

“MORE AND MORE!”

Setsuna drew her lance and attacked at the closest foe to her. The Flewddur piercing the enemy and left him shouting in pain to the ground.

Minutes past and the five enemies had become one with the ground they once walked on.

Five down, the rest of Kazas to go.

“Five.....” Lumiale’s eyes widened.

Shana looked up at him, “Five what.....”

“Five of them were killed......”

“Yeah so....” Dart shrugged.

“Haven’t you read the death by numbers code?” Lumiale raised an eyebrow.

Setsuna stopped and grew pale.

“No....why?....”

“Five to fall at the same time means chaos among those who are evil and those whom are righteous......I’m afraid that obit thing shall pop up before we can say anything different......” He shuddered.

Everyone stopped.

Rose looked at him, “You don’t honestly believe that.....”

“It has happened.....the more we kill.......the more SOA and his seraphs shall watch and decide against or with us....don’t you see....?”

Arios looked up at him, “So....does that mean that that Daisuke character and Yu are going to be up to something....?”

“I don’t know.....but peace doesn’t come easily........so...there may be some sort of skirmish between the two....”

“Skirmish.....Yu doesn’t appear to like Daisuke at all......I’d have to say a brawl between them.......besides, it also says so in the death by numbers code that the two obits, count Yu and Daisuke, shall have a battle to the end......it’s a prophecy and so far, all of them have come true....the death by numbers code has been followed perfectly....”

“What’re we going to do....?” Lavitz inquired.

“Get outta of here for now and think more about it when we come to that bridge.....or if it comes to us......now let’s go!” Rose replied and dashed off across the hallway.

The rest followed her.

Yu: ......and that means what.....

Omni: That it’s longer......err....

Yu: .....never mind......

Omni: well.....your being a meanie....is it because your straying from Eiko...?

Yu: NO!

Omni: You can tell me......*sits in a psychologist’s chair* I’m here for you Yu....

Yu: .......screw you! *runs off*

Omni: O.O! GO screw your own self!

Yayness, is longer! :D I told you it would be.......now......took me a few minutes to think up that death by numbers thing....it is more complicated, but it’s hard for me to explain....I sorries.....anywho....please review this chappie!
