Who We Are
The Blue Dragon Society is a group of men and women from all levels of soceity united by the common bonds of our ancient Vietnamese heritage, handed down to us by our sacred ancestors, devoted to the principles of society and state leadership taught by the Khong Tu to the myriad generations that followed. Beyond this, we have no strict ideology. Some are Nguyen Dynasty restorationists, some are Le Dynasty loyalists and others favor the elevation of an entirely new dynasty to claim the mantle of heaven and restore balance and righteousness to Viet Nam. Other Asian nationalities are included which share our culture, but always under the respect that our primary focus and emphasis is on the restoration of Viet Nam.
What We Are About
Pure and simple, the preservation and restoration of the true Viet heritage and traditional principles of righteous and benevolent government; of doing, as said by the Great Teacher, working always to put ourselves in order to put our families in order to put the nation in order to put the world in order so that all may live in righteous harmony under a just and benevolent administration of learned scholars, advanced by merit with a true emperor who reigns with benevolence and virtue, leading his people through moral example rather than through fear of force. No matter what directions our opinions take us, this is our ultimate and primary objective.
Where We Are
The Blue Dragon Society has been said to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Due to the universal nature of our principles, we have been pleased to see support grow among our communities in many nations around the world, however, in order to protect our own members, especially those heirs of the great dynasties in the homeland we have been in contact with, all of our local cells must observe a very strict secrecy on where they are located and who is involved. The wicked nature of those who oppose our ideals thus forces us to become a "secret society", but for anyone reading this page, it is safe to say you probably have some members of the Blue Dragon Society very close to you right now.
What It Is We Do
Before all other activities, the Blue Dragon Society, especially the parents among us, work to educate the youth in order to pass on the knowledge, principles and correct rituals so that our heritage will not be forgotten but remain protected until such time as the people can be brought back to a correct understanding and proper appreciation for the principles of our nation at which time a true restoration of the imperial system will be possible. However, this also means we are obligated by duty to oppose those actions which attack the ideals we all aspire to and degrade those sacred things we all join in devout worship. This is certainly the most dangerous aspect of being of the Blue Dragon, but those brave people who accept this responsibility are fully prepared for what they undertake and are honored by us all for their deeds. At the most basic level, it means living our lives according to the principles we profess and helping each other along the divine path to true benevolence and virtue. |
