Pictures and Description
The Spook is a rather comical looking differential-driven driven robot with a swivel wheel in the back. He features a set of fiber optics in the back of his head that helps to make him look more “interesting”(especially in the dark!). The AAAAHHRRR!!!! look and creepy claws were achieved by using pieces from the Extreme Creatures expansion pack. I implemented several features into The Spook to help achieve maximum efficiency, such as, having an axle run through several beams for less friction. This is seen in the picture where a beam is on the outside of the wheel.

The program for The Spook has him play a little game when someone shines a flashlight at the light sensor. Instead of following the light, however, he moves away from the light. If someone shines light into his light sensor enough times in a designated time period he will stop, beep ferociously, and then resume his endless behavior. Also, he uses two bumpers for obstacle avoidance. The program was written in NQC. It would be interesting if I had created a program that would chase people instead of going away from them!

Program
Here is a program written in NQC. It is in a Word document and you can paste the code into your GUI. Also, if I remeber correctly, the program did not work as it was supposed to so please be aware of this.
