James from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, as hologram extrordinaire Vic Fontaine:

As a teen idol in the 60's, James Darren had many hits - including the theme song to Gidget and others like
Goodbye Cruel World and Her Royal Majesty.
In 1999 he came out with his first new compilation in years, This One's From the Heart. It featured songs
that had been done by Vic Fontaine, as well as other classics. This CD was highly popular
in the Trek world, and with fans from the past.
His latest release was in late July, Because Of You.
