Note:  These incense recipes are provided for reference only.  Please burn incense with caution, and never leave it burning unattended - even for short periods of time.  Seek the advice of your Health Care professional before burning incense if you are Pregnant, have Heart, Liver, Kidney or Respiratory conditions/complaints to ensure that certain ingredients will not effect your health.  Any incense made from recipes on this site is done so at your own risk.  Always burn Incense in a well ventilated room, with a fire extinguisher or water source near-by.

Incense Recipes
Most recipes will be for "loose incense", which is powdered herb blend which you burn on a charcoal block, however these recipes can be made into most kinds of incense.  For example if you wanted to use a loose incense recipe for incense cones, make the loose incense and when the cone recipe calls for a certain number of parts (or weight) of herb or herbal mixture - use the incense blend you just made..  Base Recipes and instructions are found here.

Some of the above recipes use herbs, flowers, gums etc said to have certain properties.  Those ingredients were chosen for their properties and does not neccessarily mean that simply burning an incense will bring money, healing, love etc.

Caution should be used when burning certain herbs, such as Wormwood, Mistletoe, Rue, etc. Herbs such as these should be burned in a well ventilated room, using only a small amount of incense and not allowed to burn for long periods of time or for several days in succession.
