| Despite both Jesus's and God's promise, all these prayers have been submitted on my behalf, only to go . . . unanswered. Some are weird or not real prayers but were funny enough to put here. All typographical errors will be maintained. |

The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. Lord, you tell me to be confident in You.. that You will do everything and all I have to do is believe in You. Well, Father, I do believe in You, and I need Your help. Oh, God, I don't know what to say to help this person who has come to me, but perhaps she was sent to me for a reason. You know I am not a very good prayer maker, and that I speak to You in ways that others would look down upon. God, you know what is in my heart, and I pray that You touch this person. Lord, please touch her heart, and please show her the light that I see. Hear me Lord when I speak! Please just let her open her eyes and see the wonders that You make possible. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me into Your righteousness. Lord, if You never answer another prayer in my life, please answer this last one and save this person. I trust in You Lord. Please let my tears touch this person so that she may ask You for forgiveness, and to see that You are a loving God. Please let her know that You love her and that she is blessed, whether she knows it or not. I love you, Father. Please. If it is to learn to need God and prayer, you are already there. If it is to ridicule, you only ridicule yourself by causing others to pray for and with you. I belive God does answer every prayer, but as with a parent and a child, many times the answer is no. My prayer is: = Dear Lord God of Abraham, Jashua, Mohamad and father of Jesus the Christ, Please bestow upon this doubtful child the peace in his heart that has been missing, and help hiin/her to realize that in asking for these prayers, be they in ernist or ridicule, is in fact a prayer itself. Rather than to write a prayer, I enclose the following for you to read and think about. I do this because it is in thought that we pray. "Many people would like to believe that there is no God. Have you ever thought through though, what the absence of God might mean. If there is no God, then there is no design behind us or reation. There is no ultimate justice or hope beyond events like the bombings in Bali. There is only survival of the fittest, domination of the most powerful, victory for the most violent and suffering for the weak. Becoming at-one with the universe is to recognise, realise and come to terms with the mind crippling insignificance of ourselves in this vast universe. As we move towards Christmas I celebrate with all my heart the God who places so much significance in us that God becomes human and walks amongst us. God steps off the pedestal and gets his hands dirty. Compassion has at its roots the meaning of feeling with. In Jesus, God's compassion is completely developed - God with us; God as one of us. God always comes close. God always listens. God always loves.
