| That time of year that we all sit down at the table and express our love for food and family, and reflect on all the things we are thankful about in our lives. It is Thanksgiving today. For me, that means that it is time for me to acknowledge my thanks for my wife and children. I love them and will be grateful for having them in my life until the day my life comes to a close and--as billions before me--I cease to be. I’m thankful for all the hard-won lessons I’ve learned from them, and even the lessons that came free. They are my reason, my cause, my inspiration, and my life. I love you, Honey. I love you, my two sons. I’m thankful for my parents and my sister. I’m thankful that I am who I am. I’m thankful to be alive, if only for a small while. |
