It can be very daunting to have to make a presentation, either to a board meeting of people who are your superiors in an organization or to a room full of strangers, or possibly to a large audience.
One way to get around this problem, to deal with this problem, is to use a presentation in which you take some of the focus off of yourself.
Presentations are also good because you cannot lose your place and because they serve as flashcards, they work the same way as flashcards reminding you of the next issues that you have to discuss.
You've probably already seen lectures that were given with the assistance of a presentation. Those lectures are generally more memorable and the speaker is able to hold your attention much better when using the presentation.
Some people prefer to present speeches or lectures with the use of a computer-based presentation, usually prepared with PowerPoint, a computer program. You may opt to do that also and we will be happy to prepare your next PowerPoint presentation for you.
After we prepare your presentation which will be based upon your style and the way you like to speak, we will give you pointers and directives about how to go about the presentation, when to go on to the next slide, how to stand, what to look at, what facial expressions you should use, and so on, in order to make the presentation more effective.
