Your son, my all, my lover
Bakura's POV
I helped my lover to Malik's home. We weren't able to take
much. We managed to take some clothes, a crystal
unicorn that his mother gave him when he was a baby, his
favorite teddy bear, and some of his mother's jewelry. Ryou had
taken his mother's wedding ring and red a crystal pendant
and the picture of him and his mother together when he was a baby.
I carried our fish. That is all that we could take without
them caring. Yami 's eyes looked up at me through the bowl. If a fish
could ask questions, I'm sure he would have asked a
million. He just looked at me and it was creeping me out.
"Don't worry, Yami. We'll get you a nice place to
stay at Malik's house." The fish looked at me and began to cling to the
glass
where my chest was. Yami liked me…..I never thought the
fish would like me. Once again, this was a little strange.
"I can't believe you named it Yami, Bakura. Why
that?"
"Because he's a scum sucker. It's funny. He sucks the
scum." That must have been a bad thing to say around Ryou. Ryou
began to sob again. I gave myself a mental slap on the
back of the head and put my arm around him. "Sorry, Ryou. I didn't
mean that. I'm sorry. That was insensitive at this
time."
"It's Ok." Ryou turned back to the house. One
man was carrying a crystal pyramid (Author: it was supposed to be Ryou's B-day
present, remember?) and handed it to the man in black who
scribbled a figure on his clipboard and it went into the trunk.
"I'm just glad to have you, yami."
Ryou was silent the rest of the way.
When we got home, Ryou was very tired. He hadn't had his
medicine yet and his walking became slower. Marik removed
his stuff from his room and moved in with Malik. We got
the room with the biggest bed.
"You like space when you sleep, Marik. You won't
mind?" I asked.
"It's nothing. Malik won't mind me moving in with
him. More fun for both of us."
I couldn't help but laugh. I looked over at Ryou whose
hair and downcast look shielded his face.
"Ryou?"
"……………………&helli p;…….."
"Ok. We'll get you upstairs and into bed."
Malik carried up the luggage and I placed our fish on our
dresser. Ryou placed his own jewelry box on the bureau. Ryou took
a gold chain he had and threaded it through his mother's wedding
band. "Now I can always wear her ring. She'll always be with me."
Ryou looked at the door of the room almost as if waiting
for something to happen. Did he expect her to come to him? To appear?
To make him feel better?
"Malik, go get the thermometer and a glass of
water." I helped Ryou to the bed and grabbed his medicine. "Was that
walk too
much for you?"
Ryou shook his head. "It was fine. I just don't know
what we're going to do. I didn't even finish my breakfast."
He was worried about his breakfast? He just lost his home!
Everything he had! "I'll make you something to eat again, Ryou.
Don't worry about that. I'll bring it up to you so you can
get some sleep."
He looked up to me with a smile and caressed my cheek.
"Can you make me a grilled cheese?"
I chuckled as Malik came in with the thermometer and
water. "Anything else with that order?"
"Soda. Chips."
"Malik, Ryou's hungry. He wants a grilled cheese,
chips, and soda. Got any of that?"
"I'll start that, Bakura. You stay here with
Ryou."
Malik went downstairs and made Ryou's lunch. I gave Ryou
his medicine and the water slowly. He drank it quickly. I wiped away
some drops that fell down his cheek. "Let me take
your temperature." I put the thermometer in his mouth and kissed his
forehead.
After I put our clothes away and gave him his teddy bear
to fall asleep. He hugged it smiling to him. We heard Marik's frustration
from the other room as he tried to fit his clothes in with
Malik's. When the thermometer beeped, I checked it. His temperature had
dropped to near normal. When I saw that, I hugged him and
kissed him again.
"I'm glad I have you, Bakura."
I laid beside him and took him in my arms again. We laid
there quietly. I listened to him breathe and I could feel his heart beat.
I ran my hand along his arm caressing it softly until
Malik arrived with the food.
Malik sat watching Ryou eat. Malik was nice enough to make
me one, too.
"What type of chips are these?" Ryou asked.
"Barbecue….Marik's favorite."
"This is really quite good! You cook really well,
Malik."
Malik blushed. "Well, I do the cooking around here.
Tonight, we're going to have vegetable medley!"
"Sounds good," Ryou said finishing the last bite
of his sandwich.
I heard the door open downstairs and a female voice. Isis
must be home. Malik and I exchanged glances. Malik charged out of
the room when we heard Egyptian greetings being exchanged
between brother and sister. Ryou put the plate on the side and slipped
under the covers beside me. He began to yawn. My poor Ryou
had been through so much. He was tired and I wanted him to rest.
I looked up and there stood Isis at our door. Ryou raised
his head. Malik stood behind her.
"Ryou, my brother has informed me you will be staying
with us. Is this true?"
"Isis, I have no home. My father sold it and I am
left with nothing. Please don't kick me out!" Ryou said, the begging
appeared in
my lover's voice again.
"If you kick me out, I have no where to live! It was
rude of me not to ask, but please….don't let me leave. I have no home. No
money.
No family."
Isis looked at us for a moment and slowly walked to Ryou's
side of the bed. Ryou turned and looked at her as she kneeled before him.
She gently brushed his hair aside and smiled at both of
us. Her eyes were large and were filled with so much sympathy for my pleading
Ryou, that I didn't know how she could ignore him.
"Ryou, you may stay here as long as you need." Ryou sat up and
reached out for
Isis as she leaned closer to him.
"Thank you, Isis. Thank you so much! This means so
much to me!"
Isis pulled back from him. "Malik told me what
happened between you and your father. I am sorry, Ryou." Ryou nodded
quietly.
"Malik, I have to meet a very important financial
supporter of the museum for dinner. I will miss dinner tonight."
Malik looked disappointed, but shrugged it off. "I'll
save you some." Isis left the room. "My sister is always so
busy!" Malik followed
his sister out of the room. I slipped closer to Ryou and
saw him falling asleep. I put my head on his and fell asleep.
******Dream Sequence*****
Normal POV
Bakura and Ryou opened their eyes when they heard two
babies cry in the next room. They looked around the room which
looked like Steven's room.
"Weren't we kicked out of our home?" Ryou
crawled out of bed and put on his nightshirt. Bakura nodded and also put on his
nightshirt.
"It's coming from my room, yami," Ryou said
opening the door to his room slowly. Inside a woman was holding two babies in
her arms.
As they approached they saw that one looked like Bakura
with his spiky hair. The hair was put up in bows and two ponytails on each side
of her head. The baby girl was sucking on her thumb
happily sleeping. Ryou took Bakura's hand. Ryou's eyes went wide as he
recognized his mother.
"Mother?"
Rhea looked up at him and smiled. "Come here, my
son."
Ryou hugged his mother and she gave him the baby girl.
"Now I have my special little girl and my darling
little boy," Rhea said revealing a baby with blonde hair streaked with
strands of white.
"Mother? Mommy, what is all this about?"
Rhea stood up and caressed her son's head. "I love
you, Ryou. I am so proud of you."
"I lost your home. What is there to be proud
of?"
"That was your father's doing. Not your own. Your
father will get what is coming to him. I just want you to do one thing for
me."
Ryou smiled at her. "Anything, mommy. I would do
anything for you."
"Take care of yourself. Eat right. Be good. You've
always made me proud and will continue to make me even prouder than a mother
could ever be. Bakura?"
Bakura stepped closer to Ryou and looked at the girl in
his arms. "Yami, she looks just like you! You look cute as a girl!"
Ryou laughed
rocking the baby as if it was natural.
"Very funny, Ryou. Ha Ha," Bakura said rolling
his eyes. Bakura looked at the boy in Rhea's arms. He was hidden tightly under
the
blankets and he looked much smaller than the girl.
"Bakura?" Rhea asked. "Do you love my
son?"
Bakura stepped back and stroked Ryou's pale cheek. He looked
into the depths of Ryou's dark brown eyes. "I love your son, Rhea.
I love him with a love that is more than love itself, a
love that is more than dedication, a love that is more than sacrifice. If I
could lift him
up to the heavens, he would shine brighter than any star.
He is my heaven, Rhea. Ra has sent him to me. He is Ra's blessing, Ra's gift to
my life. He is the keeper of my heart and the love of my
soul."
"Without him?"
"I would be nothing. I would suffer a thousand deaths
each more painful than the last, to keep Ryou by my side. When I married him, I
promised to protect him and to love him. Nothing will stop
me from keeping my promise. I will never leave your son."
Ryou turned to him. "And I will never leave Bakura. I
love you so much, yami," Ryou clasped the baby girl to his chest cuddling
it as its little
arm hung limply over Ryou's arm. Ryou gently pressed his
lips to his yami's. Bakura brought his other hand to Ryou's cheek as they
kissed.
Bakura kissed harder as the baby slept between them
quietly. Bakura put his forehead on Ryou's forehead smiling. "That is how
much I love
your son. Your son, my all, my lover."
Ryou blushed as he turned to his mother, who handed Bakura
the boy in her arms.
"I am relieved to know my son is in such capable
hands."
Ryou looked over at the boy in Bakura's arms.
"Mother, are these babies yours?"
"How
can they be, Ryou? You are an only child."
"It doesn't matter who they are, Ryou. What matters
is that they are important to me."
Bakura and Ryou nodded.
"Look after each other in sickness and in
health."
"Till death do us part," they responded in
unison.
A bright light filled the room as Rhea began to disappear.
"Mommy! Don't go!"
"I have to, Ryou. I love you."
"Mommy!!!!"

Normal POV
Bakura and Ryou woke up together gripping onto each other.
Outside, the sun was setting and the street lights were being lit.
Ryou looked into Bakura's eyes almost asking if he had the
same dream. Ryou felt Bakura's breath on his cheek as he panted heavily.
"Did you dream about my mother?"
Bakura nodded.
"Did you hold a baby in your arms?"
Bakura nodded. Ryou settled back down into Bakura's chest.
"That was a strange dream."
Malik and Marik were laughing downstairs. Up the stairs
the smell of Malik's vegetable medley drifted making both of them salivate.
"We should get downstairs before I start our dinner a
little early," Bakura said kissing Ryou on the ear, sucking on the earlobe,
and making
Ryou giggle.
"Wouldn't you rather have dinner in bed, yami?"
Ryou said running his fingers along Bakura's neck.
Bakura's eyes narrowed. "Why settle with one dish
when you can have sides as well?" Bakura asked with a mischievous smile.
Ryou brought his body closer to Bakura. "Are you
asking what I think you are asking?"
Bakura jumped out of bed. "Come on, Ryou! Time to go
downstairs!" Ryou pulled the covers over his head. "No! I want dinner
in bed!"
Bakura walked to Ryou's side and picked him out of bed and
held Ryou draped over his shoulders. Ryou laughed swinging his arms as
he was carried hunched
over his yami's shoulder. "Yami! Let me go!"
Ryou playfully slapped his yami as he laughed. "Yami! That tickles!"
Bakura lightly slapped his behind. "Behave. A little
time with Malik and Marik won't hurt you."
Malik and Marik watched in astonishment as Ryou laughed
down the stairs being carried by his yami.
"Hold this," Bakura said dropping Ryou in
Malik's lap. Ryou still giggled as Malik looked up in shock.
Malik hugged Ryou laughing. "Well, you changed since
we've brought you home."
"I'm lucky to have you, Malik. Marik, too. I may have
lost my home, my family, everything I had, but I will always have you and
Bakura.
That means more to me
than anything else." Ryou kissed Malik deeply as
Bakura and Marik watched. Ryou moaned into the kiss as Malik began to rub
Ryou's thigh.
"Save it for later, Malik. Dinner's done."
Malik and Ryou wrapped their arms around each other
laughing and squealing in delight as their yamis walked off to the kitchen.
"Think we can handle those two?"
"I don't know, Bakura. Living together has its
advantages." Marik turned to Bakura. "Things can go back to the way
it was in Egypt.
Those lonely, hot, desert nights were never the same after
you, Bakura."
Marik planted a kiss on Bakura's mouth and pinned him to
the refrigerator. Marik's hands roamed under Bakura's shirt massaging
the skin below. Marik's kisses trailed to Bakura's neck
where the yami bit him causing Bakura to yelp.
"Marik…….can't….dinner."
They heard two quiet squeals at the kitchen entrance. Ryou
and Malik were blushing watching their yamis kiss. "Are you starting
early,
Marik Ishtar? I cooked dinner. The least we can do is eat
it."
Marik and Bakura grinned at each other. "Our hikaris
won't let us have any fun, I see," Marik sighed. Marik backed away from
Bakura and they sat down to dinner. The boys ate their
dinner hungrily and Ryou and Malik cleaned up.
"It's good to have another person help me with
dishes, Ryou."
"I live here now. I'll help any way I can."
Malik wrapped his arms around Ryou. "I'm glad you are
here with us, Ryou. I'm sure you'll like it here."
Ryou caressed Malik's cheek. "I already do."
Malik snickered and placed his head on Ryou's chest in a
tight embrace. "I love you, Ryou."
