Warning: More Millenium Rod Jokes. By the way, Marik is the yami, Malik is the non-yami. I know in Servant Yamis this is reversed, but I wasn't certain who was who until recently.
Bakura woke up and found Ryou gone from the bed. Bakura put his robe on and found his ring on the father's dresser. Downstairs, he found Ryou munching more on the chocolates.
"You didn't get enough sweets last night?" Bakura asked putting on hand on Ryou's shoulder. Ryou kissed the hand and wiped it clean with his hand. Ryou was already dressed complete with the ring on his hand. "How are you feeling this morning? Little better?" Bakura poured himself a glass of milk and joined Ryou at the table.
The hikari smiled at him and stole another candy. "Yeah. You?"
Bakura went to the medicine cabinet and took two pills. "My head still kinda hurts, but I'll be fine."
"What are your plans today?"
[I have to get to that pet shop for that creature Ryou wanted.] "I have to go to Marik's today. Malik won't be there and he wants to chat."
"Oh dear. Anything wrong with him?"
"Ummm……private yami stuff, Ryou. You wouldn't be interested."
Ryou always gave Bakura enough personal space. Bakura enjoyed spending time with the other yami. Married life was a compromise and both had adjusted very well. They would go to the arcade with Joey and Tristan and watch him lose tons of money at those crane machines. Joey never seemed to win. The highlight of one of his days was finding a Time Wizard watch that kept the time. Tristan joked that it would make certain Joey wouldn't be late for again for school. Malik, Marik, Ryou, and Bakura would go out miniature golfing and to the movies. Ryou and Malik were playful and had a certain spark of life that attracted the yamis. Neither Marik nor Bakura could explain the phenomenon, it was just always present. Even when things looked bad, the yamis could depend on their lighter halves to make anything better. Marik was just more rough with his lighter half, but frankly, Malik never seemed to mind.
"Oh. OK," Ryou sounded a little disappointed. He wanted to spend the day with Bakura, but if Marik needed help, he could wait. "I do have cleaning to do around here."
"Sounds good." Bakura pat Ryou's back and ran up the stairs to get dressed. When he was ready, he grabbed the money, gave Ryou a good-bye kiss, and sped out the door faster than Ryou had ever seen him. 'Marik must really need to talk,' he thought.
Bakura ran down the block when he reached that creep Cinetti house. Ryou was not with him now. This guy could not get off so easily. He not only threw Ryou to the ground and humiliated him, he had the sheer….audacity to touch Ryou and hold him in his slimy grip. The memories of the previous day rekindled his anger. Bakura looked at the ring on his finger. 'He touched my Ryou! That scumbag won't get away with this!' he growled as he jumped over the fence and peeked into the window.
Cinetti was yelling at the top of his lungs to someone in another room. "I work hard to provide for you! I put a roof over your head and food on your table and this is the thanks I get, Beatrice?"
"I'm doing all I can! I'm sorry if my best isn't good enough for you!"
"How dare you talk to me that way!"
This man, this high "righteous" man so concerned with "values", was a hypocrite. The woman in the kitchen crying her eyes out was his wife! He condemned Ryou for holding Bakura's hand, but this is nothing compared to a vicious coward who treats his wife with disrespect. Bakura growled as he felt a hand grip his collar. It was the younger Cinetti, leather clad, thick chain around his neck, and a nose ring along with a demeanor which cried out "bully." Bakura could see how Ryou would be intimidated. The teen and Bakura growled at each other.
"What are you doing here, punk?"
"I could ask the same to you, but then again, I'd be the insulting punks."
"You think you are such a big man trespassing on my dad's property?"
Bakura gripped the teen's leather jacket furiously. "I see where your father's family values lie! He treats his woman like garbage! You are no different beating up other people who can't defend themselves! You are every much a coward as he is, using violence to intimidate other people! I will not be intimidated by the likes of you!"
The teen shook in fury. "You little bastard! What do you know about my family? My dad told me about you and another boy together. He says he looks just like you."
"At least I don't beat up my partner, the one I love. I bet he beats your mom, too, the coward!"
"Quiet!"
"And I bet you sit, enjoy, and watch every minute of it." A sound from inside the house supported Bakura's accusation as a sharp crack was heard within. "Some values!"
The teen swung at Bakura, but he grabbed the boy's wrist. "You leave me no choice. I'm going to teach you not to beat up my Ryou!" A light emitted from Bakura's hand and threw the bully two feet away on the ground frozen still.
"I….can't….move."
Bakura hovered over the boy for a moment. "It's a harmless little spell. You'll be fine in a couple of hours. I don't recommending trying to move, though."
"Can..you..at least….turn me over ….so I can't….look into the sun?"
Bakura grabbed the boy's collar. "How often have you left other people in the same position? Are you begging me for mercy? How many times have you listened to your victim's pleas for mercy? No. It's time for you to get a little suntan, little brat."
Bakura released the teen's collar and walked to the front door when Cinetti appeared. "So you like beating up on defenseless women, huh?" Bakura pulled out a card from his deck. "Brain Control!" Cinetti's anger melted into a blank stare. "Now, monkey-boy, let me in."
Bakura sternly entered the house and went into the kitchen to find a woman on the floor crying. Bakura went over to her. "Are you alright?" Bakura brushed away her hair to find another bruise on her forehead.
"Who are you?"
"Just call me a concerned citizen. I can't stand bullies and I can't stand wife beating bigots like your husband." Cinetti appeared at the door standing still. The woman was obviously afraid the man would begin to pummel the intercessor.
"Don't hurt the boy, Tom!"
"Hurt me? Ha Ha!! He couldn't hurt a fly now. I have him under my brain control. Bark like a dog!"
"Woof!"
"Jump like the little puppet you are!" Cinetti jumped.
The woman staggered off the floor. "You're that boy Tom was talking about!"
Bakura scowled and walked up to the man poking his chest. "Don't call me 'boy'! My name is Bakura! I was born with a name! You learn to treat people right, especially the one you are supposed to love." Bakura turned back to the woman.
"Tom said you beat him up."
"Your husband attacked us first. He badly bruised Ryou and gave me the worst headache of my afterl…..my life."
"I'm sorry, Bakura."
"Don't apologize for this dummy, lady. He's not worth your breath." Bakura turned to Cinetti and punched him knocking him out. "That's for Ryou. I matched you bruise for bruise. Now we're even." Bakura turned back to her. "Yami Yugi may use games to settle disputes like this, but I'm no pharaoh."
"Thank you for helping, but will he be alright?"
"When he awakes, he won't remember any of this. Hopefully he will treat you better. Oh, if you see your son, he'll be alright in a few hours. Does he get sunburn or suntan? Hmm…You know he's awful stiff. He should learn to relax once in a while." Bakura laughed and dashed down the street, satisfaction playing on his lips.
Bakura ran to the pet shop and to the dog cages. He looked for the puppy Ryou was admiring. The same lady who kicked him out came to help him. "Did you sell that golden retriever?"
"Oh yes. He was sold last night."
"Rats. I promised Ryou present from this place." The spirit looked at the cats, the guardians of the underworld. He did not need to be reminded of the god Anubis since the events of a few months prior.
"I'm looking for something small and that won't require a lot of care. I really didn't talk this over with the actual owner of the house either. I want something small." Bakura eyed the reptiles. Ryou wouldn't like that too much. He knew Ryou couldn't bear feeding them other insects.
Bakura ended up buying kissing fish which were easy to care for. He bought six fish, a bowl, and an algae eater (which he named Yami because he knew it would completely tick Yami Yugi off) to clean the bowl. He bough chemicals for the ph, white gravel, and a little treasure chest for the fish to swim around.
He then went to the grocery store for candy and a birthday card for Ryou. Flowers would have to be bought fresh. He saw Tristan and Serenity shopping for clothes when he stopped to greet them.
"Those fish are so cute, Bakura," Serenity smiled.
"Ryou's birthday is coming up in a few days so I got him fish and some chocolate and I'll get him some flowers on the day before."
"How are you two doing? Did you enjoy the carnival?"
"We couldn't be happier. Yeah, we had a great time last night! Ryou was so tired when he got home. He passed right out."
"We better get something for Ryou before we forget, Tristan. Are you doing anything special for Ryou's birthday?"
"Well, I already planned our dinner. I'm cooking that night. We're gonna have fish and rice. It's an old Egyptian recipe. I used to eat it when I could steal it." Bakura couldn't help but laugh at the conclusion of the sentence.
"He'll like that. We'd better go, Serenity." Serenity waved bye as Tristan pulled her away. Bakura returned home gratified he found the perfect gifts for Ryou's birthday.
When he got into the house, Ryou was cleaning the dishes and humming to himself. Bakura couldn't help but stare as Ryou moved his body like a professional belly dancer. The yami had to tear his stare away from the swinging, bending, smooth movements of Ryou's hips and ran upstairs to hide the presents. Bakura set up the tank for the fish and put them in when the water temperature was perfect. He ran downstairs hoping to high Ra that Ryou was still entranced in his dancing. The yami couldn't resist intentionally warning Ryou he was there so he wouldn't drop a plate. Bakura wrapped his arms around Ryou's waist.
"I didn't know you danced," Bakura said kissing Ryou's neck.
"I don't. But for some reason, I'm glad I am." Ryou and Bakura giggled. Bakura broke away and prepared sandwiches for lunch.
"What did Marik say? Is he OK?"
"What?"
"You went to see Marik. How is he?"
"Marik! Oh, he's fine. Problem solved. He..uh..lost his rod."
Ryou looked at Bakura with a suspicious grin. "Did you find it?"
"Yeah, after a little digging. I asked him where he put it last. He didn't remember. He keeps puts it in a lot of places."
Ryou stopped drying the dish and shifted his eyes. This conversation was getting too creepy.
"Sometimes, I don't even if he knows where he puts it half the time."
"O.K., yami. I get the idea."
"I asked him how he lost it. He said Malik was getting tired of holding the Rod. His arm was getting stiff, so Marik held it for him."
Ryou refused to close his eyes to see the scary, but not to unpleasant image before him in his mind.
"Please, we are going to eat lunch here. Don't go into detail or we will end up having another incident like last night."
"We do got more chocolate left," Bakura winked.
"Not now," Ryou said biting into his sandwich. They ate their lunch and returned to the couch with Ryou snuggling up beside his yami. Ryou had dusted and cleaned since he left so the place smelled like lemon.
"You did a great job cleaning this place, Ryou."
Ryou smiled and leaned up to kiss Bakura. Ryou stood up and straddled Bakura's hips rubbing his body against Bakura's. Ryou's hands roamed Bakura's chest as he deepened the kiss. The boy on the bottom slipped his warm hands under Ryou's shirt to caress his light's back. Ryou moaned into the kiss as every part of his skin tingled with excitement.
Bakura pulled away from the kiss. "Do you want the chocolates this time?"
"I am not leaving. I'm staying right here." Ryou pulled his body closer to Bakura who began to suckle his neck.
"I love you, Ryou."
Ryou was panting heavily now and pulled off his shirt. Bakura's kisses trailed down to nip and tease Ryou's chest. Ryou leaned into Bakura wrapping his arms around him. "Yami…uh…please."
Bakura turned pinning Ryou on the couch moving down to his stomach slowly licking and kissing the now-fading bruise. The boy ran his finger's though his yami's hair moving his hips similar to his dancing, writhing and shifting to keep his partner entranced. Bakura returned to Ryou's mouth and unbuttoning Ryou's pants. Ryou began to pant heavier when the door was knocked.
Ryou's arms left Bakura's hair and fell at his side. Bakura grunted in frustration. "I'm all worked up and I have to answer the door."
Ryou buttoned his pants and put his shirt on. "One minute!" Both boys brushed back their hair and smoothed out their shirts. Ryou and Bakura went to see who had interrupted their little session. Ryou opened the door and the smile left of his face. "Daddy?"
Bakurasgirl: AREN'T I EVIL????? MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
