Josh Hartnett - Who is this talented and good-looking young actor? Where
did he come from? Here’s the answer!
Joshua
Daniel Hartnett was born in San Francisco on July 21st, 1978 (star
sign cancer), he was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is the oldest
of four siblings, he got one sister called Jessica and two brothers,
Jake and Joe.
Josh attended Nativity of Our Lord School then went on to Creitin
Derham Hall. He liked to play football in High School, but injuries
forced him to quit.
During his time in the high school he had a job in a video store.
That's how he fell in love with movies. When Josh's dad realized
his son wanted become an actor, he sat him down to watch old movies.
One movie star Josh idolizes is the late Jimmy Stewart, he also
idolizes Ethan Hawke. His favorite actress is Gwyneth Paltrow. Josh’s
aunt "coerced" (his own words) him into auditioning for an acting
company.
In 1996 Josh graduated from South High School. Josh had already
performed on many local stages, including Children's Theater Company,
Youth Performance Company and stepping Stone Theater.
He also took
part in National commercials, one of his first jobs was in a Northwest
Airlines commercial. Then he went to New York to study acting at
SUNY. Josh was kicked out of theater school for protesting its policies,

Josh tried out six times for Dawson’s Creek, he also auditioned
for the Postmen with Kevin Costner. He moved to California to start
his acting career.
He also likes to spend
time with his family in St.Pauls. His favorite music is Jazz and
Blues. His favorite color is blue, his favorite food pizza.
