TNN received its best-ever Tuesday and Wednesday day-long ratings when it kicked off its five day TNG Marathon. TNN paid $365 million for reruns of TNG, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. The marathon featured segments hosted by TNG cast members such Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn and Jonathan Frakes.

Roswell-Enterprise
Crossover (Of Sorts)
Network synergy
will be simmering at UPN this fall when the sci-fi series Roswell--
one of the shows UPN snatched earlier this year-- crosses over with Enterprise--
sort of. Jonathan Frakes, who produces Roswell, will guest
star in an episode of Roswell (that he will also direct) that will
see a Roswellian character try out for a guest starring role on Enterprise.
Although Rick Berman approved of the idea, he wouldn't let Roswell
film on the Enterprise sets, and though Roswell's producers
wanted Scott Bakula to guest star in the episode, Bakula declined given
it being the early days of the new series.
