PERFORMANCE DETAILS:

STRUCTURE:
"Sherlock Holmes's Other Woman" is a play full of twists, turns and secrets. It's unusual in structure, as it consists of three acts, with each subsequent act serving as a "sequel" to the preceding acts. The "first act" may be presented as a complete one-act play; the "first act" and "second act" may be performed as a complete two-act play; and the "first act," "second act" and "third act" may be performed as a complete three-act play.

MINIMUM CAST REQUIREMENTS:
* First act only -- One male and one female -- "Dr. John Watson" and "Gabriella" -- while the program will list a ficticious second male actor portraying "Sherlock Holmes."
* First and second acts only -- Two male actors and one female -- "Sherlock Holmes," "Dr. John Watson" and "Gabriella." The program may list all three actors appropriate by name.
* All three acts -- An additional male performer will be required, for a total of four performers. However, the program will not acknowledge the fourth person's participation.

RUNNING TIME: Approximately 2 hours if all three acts are performed with intermissions.

SUGGESTED SETS: Act I -- Sherlock Holmes's rooms at 221B Baker Street. Act II -- A holding area and cell in Newgate Prison in London. Act III -- Interior of Holmes's cottage in Sussex.

PROPS: These are complex are varied, ranging from revolvers, derringers, muffs and typical Baker Street paraphernalia to bee-keeping smokers and a dynamite bomb. See complete script for full details.

RATES (in advance of performance):
One performance only: $20
Two to five performances only within a one-month period: $15 per performance.
Six to 10 performances only within a one-month period: $10 per performance.
10 to 20 performances only within a two-month period: $5 per performance. NOTE: Rates apply to performance of complete or partial script.

NOTE: Documentation of performance dates and place will be required by surface mail at least one week prior to performance. A copy of your program, poster, newspaper article or other printed matter will suffice. If this documentation is not received, the performance agreement will be considered null and void.
