"Coverteye", My 1986 Cherokee
Welcome to my web site! I hope that you will
enjoy your visit here. The purpose of these pages is to showcase
the evolution of my 1986 Jeep Cherokee Surveillance Vehicle .
This project has been evolving more each month from what was
once an off road vehicle project to that of an Surveillance
vehicle off road project with various off road adventures being
used as a testing grounds for its systems.
Like most projects, what I originally envisioned
as an end product somehow managed to change as I moved forward.
The more I work with this vehicle the more I see possibilities
for a very mobile, modular expedition system that will lend
itself very well to exploring remote areas. When completed
the Jeep should be able to accommodate full range of
Surveillance specific accessories while still providing
comfortable highway transportation and the ability to deal with
hostile off road environments.
