5. Catharine Werkheiser (B. 1765) married Andrew Albert (B. 1742). Catharine was born in Bethlehem Township. Catharine was baptized in the Drylands (Hecktown Lutheran Church) on November 16, 1765. Her sponsors were John and Catharine Schweitzer.
They resided near Minisink, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. Andrew was thought to be a Hessian prisoner of war, who was released to help with the farm work on the Werkheiser farm which is how and where he met and married Catharine. Andrew lived to be 104 years old. Catharine and Andrew had eleven children:
