        Some of the following information is from another Werkheiser page and one of their sources is from the 10th census, 1880 Salisbury Township in Lehigh County. Other sources are the St. John's Evangleical Lutheran Church of Easton, Pennsylvania, Forks Cemetery, and the German Evangelist Lutheran Church records.

        9. William Henry Werkheiser (4/2/1773-8/8/1825) married Elizabeth Sickman (8/31/1780-3/9/1854). William was born in Bethlehem Township. William Henry was baptized at the Drylands (Hecktown Lutheran Church) on May 2, 1773. His sponsors were William H. and Elizabeth Labold . Henry and Elizabeth resided in Plainfield Township. They attended the St. John's Lutheran Church in Easton, Pennsylvania. William and Elizabeth are buried in the Planfield Cemetery. William and Elizabeth had thirteen children:

        91. Elizabeth Werkheiser (b. 1890) married John Messinger.
        92. Charles Werkheiser (1803-1900) married Sarah Marsh. Charles and Sarah had two children:
        921. Hiram Werkheiser (b. 1845) married Christiana Serfass (b. 1846).
        922. Laura Werkheiser.
        93. Catharine Werkheiser (b. 1805) married Lenhart Schnyder.
        94. Sarah Werkheiser (b. 1806) married William Lambert.
        95. Anna Werkheiser (b. 1808).
        96. Margaret Werkheiser (b. 1810) married John Snyder.

        98. William H. Werkheiser, Jr. (b. 1812) married Sally Ann Keim. William and Sally had six children:
        981. Matilda Werkheiser (b. 1839) married ? Walter.
        982. Lewis Werkheiser (b. 1841) was killed in action in the Civil War.
        983. Emma Catharine Werkheiser (b. 1843) married Daniel Kemerrer.
        984. Mary Elizabeth Werkheiser (b. 1847) married ? Fisher.
        985. Reuben Werkheiser (b. 1848).
        986. Sarah Werkheiser (b. 1857) married ? Memmert.
        99. Nelson Werkheiser (b. 1819) died in Illinois.
        99a. Jesse Werkheiser (b. 1822) married Sevilla Fulmer.
        99b. Abraham Werkheiser
        99c. Rebecca Werkheiser (4/1810-10/16/1852) was born in Ferndale, Pennsylvania, and is buried Ferndale, Pennsylvania. She married John Schneider/Snyder. They had four children:
        99c1.Eliza Matilida Schneider, (3/24/1830-32-5/2/1907), was born in Forks Township, Pennsylvania. She died in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She married John B. Bratsch (b. 7/2/1825) on February 25, 1855 in the Salem Luthern Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. John was born in Germany and died in South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They are both buried in the St. Michaels Cemetery in South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He served in the 153 Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry in the Civil War. They had nine children:

        99c14. George Bratsch (9/29/1862/63-1915) was born in Seidersville, Pennsylvania. He is buried in the Holy Ghost Cemetery. He married Josephine Waeokul. They had six children:

        99c17. Elizabeth Antonineta Bratsch (5/07/1866-6/15/1944) was born in Salisbury, South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and died in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania. She was baptized on May 10, 1867. She married Henry Pfeiffer (d. 1943) in 1887. He was the son of Lousia and Elizabeth Pfeiffer.

        99c2. Susan Schneider Carr (b. 3/27/1852) was baptized on October 28, 1860. She married Andrew M. Carr on January 17, 1871. Andrew was from Philllipsburg, Pennsylvania, and was the son of Thomas and Sarah A. Carr.
        99c3. Cecila Schneider Trumbore married Samuel Trumbore on August 13, 1857. Sam was a gas-fitter. He was born in Saucon Township in Pennsylvania, and the son of Jonas and Elizabeth Trumbore.
        99c4. Lizzie Schneider Frederick married Stephen Friedrich on January 3, 1858. Stephen was a brickmaker in Forks Township, Pennsylvania. He was born in Plainfield Township, Pennsylvania, the son of William and Rebecca Friedrich.
        99d. Susan Werkheiser married Peter Reimer on September 20, 1823.
