        Hi! I am ROBERT WEED. This is my Grandmother's Worden lineage.
        1. JOHN L. WORDEN was born in 1818 and died in 1897. He had one son:

        11. WILLIAM WORDEN (had red hair and lived in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania). He married JULIA GRAVES (d. September 1914). They had five children:
        111. JOHN ABNER WORDEN (4/20/1863 or 64-4/10/1934) married ESTELLA MAY SMITH (8/20/1867-5/11/1935) on July 3, 1887 in Wellsburg, New York. JOHN WORDEN died in Bentley Creek, Pennsylvania.         1111. ANNA BELLE WORDEN (6/23/1888-3/27/1959) married JOHN CLARK FLETCHER (1888-1/19/1939) on December 25, 1906. JOHN FLETCHER was a police officer for the Elmira, New York police department. Eventually he became a farmer. He passed away of pneumonia. His father was WILLIAM J. FLETCHER (11/7/1854-11/12/1930) married ELSIE ?. He died at his home in East Smithfield Township where he had spent most of his life. He had three children:
        John C. of Elmira.
        Edward at home.
        Helen Weed of East Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
        He had a brother Seeley Fletcher of Granville, Pennsylvania and four sisters, Lois Fletcher Campbell of Canton, Pennsylvania, Ida Fletcher Burlingame of Canton, Pennsylvania, Minnie Fletcher Smith of Athens, Pennsylvania, and Mary Fletcher Olmstead of Johnson City, New York. Internment was in the Luthers Mills Cemetery in Luthers Mills, Pennsylvania and was officiated by Reverend J. Strite of the M. E. Church of East Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
        ANNA WORDEN died of cancer. They are buried in the Union Cemetery, East Smithfield, Pennsylvania. They had two children:
        11111. Winifred Jeanette Fletcher (4/12/1912-10/1918). She died of Bubric ? Paralysis.
        11112. GENEVIEVE MAXINE FLETCHER (3/25/1914-4/15/2997) married LAWRENCE WEED. You may read more about their family on ROBERT WEED'S homepage. Just follow the link at the bottom of the page. GENEVIEVE FLETCHER was born in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania. She worked for different homes around the area and eventually just stayed home and raised her family. She loved cooking, baking, reading, and yard work. The last ten years of her life was spent at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington, Pennsylvania.
        The funeral was held at the Gerald W. Vickery Jr. Funeral Home Inc., in Troy Pennsylvania. The viewing was held 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 and again from 10-11 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2007. The funeral service was held at 11 am on Wednesday and burial was in the Union Cemetery in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania.
        1112. Dana Claude Worden (6/24/1889-5/1967) married Mattie White (2/15/1890-2/2/1967) on March 20, 1910. They had four children:
        11121. Helene Louise Worden (b. 9/20/1910) married Howard Huffman in 1926 or 28. They had one daughter:
        111211. Lorena June Huffman who died around the age of seven in an institution. She then married a Bernard Wilkerson and then Philip Rockwell who served in World War II.
        11122. Dana Carleton Worden (b. 3/9/1914) married Helen O'Brien and then Zola ?.
        11123. John Bradford Worden (b. 6/8/1917). He married Linda ? and was known as "Tink". They had two children:
        111231. John Worden who lives in Liverpool, New York.
        111232. Deborah Christine Worden. John Worden then married Betty ? and then Gwen ?.
        11124. James Frederick (b. 4/26/1926) married Harriet B. ? They had three children:
        111241. Linda Sue Worden.
        111242. Pamela Worden.
        111243. Susan Worden.
        1113. Elsie Elizabeth Worden (1/25/1907-11/3/1995). She married Stuart A. Guiles on November 30, 1933. They had two children:
        11131. Gerry Alan Guiles.
        11132. Lynne Christine Guiles.
        112. Alvin Worden had red hair.
        113. Miriam (Mary) Worden was mute and died at the age of 21.
        114. Eva Worden (d. 1944 or 45) married M. Orphus Sumner.
        115. Willis Worden married Stella ?, Mary ?, and then Mary Green (d. 1942). Willis Worden and Mary Green had two sons:
        1151. Paul Harold Worden (b. 4/29/1894) married Laura Gould (she died of brast cancer). They had one son:
        11511. Douglas Paul Worden married Carlene Louise Gordner. They divorced and Carlene married a ? Saxon. They had three children:
        115111. Carla Worden Dieg.
        115112. Amy Worden Rudloft.
        115113. Jason Douglas Worden.
        Douglas Worden then married Jill ? They had one son:
        115114. Douglas Worden II.

        1152. Lee Worden.

        We have found a Howard Fletcher that we believe was John Fletcher's nephew. He married Arlene M. Campbell (4/12/1925-10/5/2006). She was the daughter of Herbert D. and Anna Stanton Campbell. She died at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pennsylvania.
        Arlene was involved with 4-H for many years and spent her life enjoying her family. She and her husband had been married for 57 years.
        She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Jessica Dannelley.
        Arlen and Howard had four children: Linda and John Kemery of Tennesee, Richard and Betty Fletcher of Gillett, Donald and Susan Fletcher of Ulster, and Renee Fletcher of Elmira, New York. She has a sister Marilyn Vinson of Sylvania. Betty Szczech Fletcher is a sister to Frances Szczech Weed who is married to Joseph Weed, who is the son of Lawrence and Genevieve Fletcher Weed.
