Mistakes
Perfection

You may be concerned about raising bilingual children since you do not speak the minority language perfectly.

That is a legitimate concern. However, if you act wisely, it may not be a serious problem.

You can balance your limitations with books, songs, other adults, CDs, playgroups, clubs, and other methods. As long as you have a reasonable control over the minority language, there should not be a problem.

Another way to limit your input of mistakes is by allocating a certain number of hours per day to the minority language. During that time you can stress the reading and writing of that language, and you can make it more lively with games and songs.
