Flying Flame

Captain Red Ruff, a young American pilot, has gone to England to help fight against the Nazis during the Battle of Britain. Captain Ruff is only one man, of course, but he happens to be the pilot of the Flying Flame, the fighter plane most feared by the Nazis. (That's a picture of the Flame to the right.) In one story Captain Ruff and the Flame clash with the Black Ace, one of Germany's best pilots, and with the Ace's death ray.

The Flying Flame has no powers but was a very good pilot and, of course, very good with his fists.
