The
Legend
Of
Sunset
Beach:
"When
the moon rises early just as the Santa Ana winds kick up out of nowhere
and the sun is just dropping out of sight, whoever you meet at the far
side of the pier is who you're destined to be with."
-
Elaine Stevens, January 6, 1997, The Waffle Shoppe.

The
Legend
Comes
True:
"I
had the strangest dream. I dreamed that I was back in Ludlow and everyone
from Sunset Beach was there with me. And none of this was real at all."
"Was
I there?"
"Yes.
And when you came in the door, I knew..."
"We'd
be together?"
"Forever."
"Well,
I promise you, darling. This is no dream."

Ben&Meg Evans, December 31, 1999, Evans residence.

If I
thought I loved you before, doesn't even compare to how much I love you
know. Because I almost lost you. And I couldn't live with that.
|
|
When
I came to Sunset Beach three years ago, I came with a dream. To find the
man of my dreams. And I did. On the beach, at sunset. Just like the legend
said. And sometimes
legends do come true. So do dreams. I know that now, because I'm living
my dream. And I never want to wake up.
|
|
I
love you! Only you! You're the one who saved me for goodness
sake! The one who opened up the world to me again. And I will love
you until my DYING BREATH and there is not a damn thing I can do about
it or want to do about it.

Taken
from an upcoming interview with Clive:
"I
think it only fitting for Ben and Meg to marry for the finale. I wouldn't
have signed my contract otherwise. We owe the fans that much".
|
When
asked if he would leave the show if Susan decided to, Clive said:
"Our
contracts are up at the end of this year. If she would leave, then I think
I would leave, too. Because we have a great chemistry and I can't imagine
continuing without her."
