Oilers downed the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-0, on Saturday. Salo stopped 21 shots
over the second and third periods and finished with 26 saves to pick up his
third victory in his last four starts. Mike York had a goal and an assist to
give him six points in his last four games for Edmonton, which improved to 3-1-0-1
on its current six-game road trip. Robert Esche gave up two goals on 12
third-period shots and ended with 19 saves in the loss for Philadelphia, which
has just two wins in its last 10 games.
