BUFFALO, NY -- Chris Drury had his first three-point game of the season for the
Buffalo Sabres in a 6-2 triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday. Drury
tallied his eighth goal of the year early in the first period and set up Curtis
Brown late in the stanza and again with 1:43 remaining in the second for a 3-2
lead. Jason Botterill contributed a goal and an assist and Mika Noronen, who
made his first start since December 29, made 35 saves for Buffalo, which
extended its home unbeaten streak to seven games. Jeff Hackett allowed three
goals on eight third-period shots and ended with 19 saves to suffer his eighth
defeat in his last nine starts. Kim Johnsson and Tony Amonte each had a goal
for Philadelphia, which fell to 0-4-1-1 since January 3.
