PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Patrice Bergeron registered two points for the second time
in as many games for the Boston Bruins in a 4-3 triumph over the Philadelphia
Flyers on Thursday. Bergeron tallied an unassisted marker late in the second
period and helped set up a power-play strike by Glen Murray 31 seconds in to
the third for a 4-2 cushion. Hal Gill and Rob Zamuner each added a goal and
Felix Potvin stopped 24 shots for Boston, which has won eight of its last 10.
Sean Burke, who turned aside 19 of the 20 shots he faced in the middle stanza,
made 37 saves in defeat. John LeClair scored twice, giving him nine goals and
19 points over his last 17 games for Philadelphia, which has lost three
straight after taking the previous five.
