PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Kim Johnsson scored twice for the Philadelphia Flyers in a
5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators on Wednesday. Johnson, who finished
with three points, opened the scoring 27 seconds into the contest and tallied
his second power-play goal of the season early in the third period. Tony Amonte
and Alexei Zhamnov eash added a goal and two assists and Robert Esche stopped
22 shots for Philadelphia, which snapped a three-game winless skid. Chris
Mason, who made his first start since February 13, surrendered two goals on
nine first-period shots and ended with 21 saves in the loss. Scott Walker
netted his team-leading 21st goal for Nashville, which lost for just the second
time in its last eight contests.
