PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Adrian Aucoin recorded two goals as the New York Islanders
doubled up the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2, on Thursday. Aucoin, who extended his
season-high goal-scoring streak to three games, put a feed from Michael Peca
past goalstender Robert Esche 8:27 into the contest and tallied an unassisted
marker later in the period for a 2-2 tie. Mark Parrish netted his second game-
winner in his last three games and Wade Dubielewicz, who made his NHL debut
when he replaced Garth Snow to begin the second period, stopped each of the 14
shots he faced for New York, which has won four straight and six of its last
seven. Esche gave up four goals on 15 shots in the loss. John LeClair had a
goal and an assist for Philadelphia, which has dropped two of its last three at
home.
