OTTAWA -- Martin Havlat scored twice for the Ottawa Senators in a 4-1 victory
over Philadelphia on Monday, snapping the Flyers' 12-game unbeaten streak.
Havlat broke a scoreless tie 2:28 into the second period and netted his first

performance of the season. Daniel Alfredsson added a goal and an assist and
Martin Prusek, who stopped 24 of 25 shots over the second and third periods,
made 31 saves for Ottawa, which evened its home record at 5-5-2-2. Robert
Esche, who had his seven-game unbeaten streak halted, turned aside 26 shots in
the loss. Keith Primeau tallied his first goal in his last 11 games for
Philadelphia, which was held to one goal or less for just the fourth time in
23 games this year.
