VAGATOR BEACHES & CHAPORA

ACCOMMODATION:
There are two resorts. The Steling V. Beach Resort at Big Vagator is high quality and has a pool. The other, The Royal Resort, is on the road to Mapusa in south Chapora. The other hotels are the St. Martins G.H., Hotel Oasis, Sea View G.H.and the Sherator Rooms in Chapora Village. Apart from these, most stay in local houses or purpose-built cottages.
RESTAURANTS:
There are approx. 50 restaurants in this area, not including the numerous beach shacks. Behind St. Anthony’s church in Albuquerque Vaddo is the Primrose Restaurant which is the meeting place prior to parties in the area.

TRANSPORT:
There are a number of buses from Mapusa which arrive at the triangle in Chapora Village. In this area most visitors have their own hired transport.
