There was once a little calico kitty, lost and hungry, having no kitty furriends and not knowing what to do. She was wandering the streets in search of a nice home, but was having no luck. She was only a few months old, and didn't understand where all the humans were this cold, misty day. She kept walking up to doors and mewing, and she could hear sounds from inside, but the humans talking and laughing drowned out her kitten mews. She didn't know that it was Thanksgiving Day, and that all the humans were gathered for food and football and family. Her little paws were so tired, but she saw one house that seemed promising. She could smell that kitties had been around here, and she also saw a water dish and a food dish that had a few leftover morsels. She ate those, and decided to try to attract attention again. Then she saw two kitties in the window looking out at her. Oh my, they were big kitties! But they looked furriendly and they meowed at her. She went to another window and the kitties ran over there, and meowed again. Could they be calling their Meowmie? They looked very well cared for, and maybe she could at least bed down here until the morning.
