Electron

Star Roses

Electron is a vibrant pink, large-flowered hybrid tea rose; an outstanding rose in color, scent, and disease-resistance.  The blossoms are huge!  Its electric color may be a bit hard to place in gardens of more subtle hues, but if you can, make room for this lovely specimen.  It should blend well with bright orange, pink, lavender, deep yellow, and white roses.  I have sited mine among roses of similar color (Perfume Delight, Mary Rose, Paradise, Fragrant Cloud, Angel Face) with a contrasting Golden Showers for spark.
Check out the information about Electron's disease-resistance at the
HelpMeFind - Roses site.  Very encouraging!
Electron is an award-winning rose!  The list follows:
1973 All-American Rose Selection
1973 Portland Gold Medal
1972 Belfast Gold Medal
1970 The Hague Gold Medal and the Golden Rose
1969 RNRS Gold Medal
